Veterinary Health Camp and Farmers Welfare Scheme Awareness
Krishaj Foundation in collaboration with Sankalp Retail organized a free veterinary health check-up and awareness camp for ensuring the health and wellbeing of the livestock in Village Sikandarpur, Tehsil Sasni, Uttar Pradesh. Over 150 farmers and livestock bearers had participated, making it a very successful event, especially since it was the first time that such a program was organized.
Not only was it a prominent event for the organization, but also for the village Sikanderpur, Sasni where it was held. We were graced by the presence of the Veterinary Doctor, Gram Pradhan, Agriculture Officer, Panchayat Secretary, Officials and the event was carried out by the best veterinary team in the area. We also launched our next program in line, which is the farmer’s welfare scheme awareness program. We distributed information leaflets and appointed government officers in the camp who could brief the farmers, and in fact, register a couple of interested farmers on the spot for schemes like Kisaan Samman Nidhi Yojana and Ayushmaan Card.
The venue was at Primary School, and an Anganwadi Kendra was also situated in the same premises.
Dinesh Srivastava Ji, who is the State head for Sankalp in Uttar Pradesh-West, made sure that his team was very collaborative and meticulous. They made sure everything was arranged for and readily available. Dr RD Singh Ji facilitated the team with certificates of appreciation.
This was a unique experience for all the farmers, which not only helped their livestock but also helped us create a good rapport with them. We will soon launch this program in other states as well.
