This Diwali, Krishaj Foundation participated in the Daan Utsav- Festival of Giving, which is observed each year from 2nd to 8th October. Daan Utsav, also known as the “Joy of Giving Week,” is India’s largest festival of philanthropy. It is a week-long celebration of kindness and generosity that encourages people from all walks of life to give back to society. Thousands of people come out to spread kindness, love and joy by providing time, resources or monetary help.

This year, for the first time, the Krishaj Delhi office team came together to observe Daan Utsav. Thanks to everyone’s generous participation, we managed to collect about 200 kgs of groceries that were donated to Sarthak Prayas, an NGO supporting and caring for elderly individuals, ensuring they live happily with dignity. Our collaborative efforts enabled us to make a substantial impact on the lives of others. It was inspiring to see our employees coming forward as “one” and bringing smiles to countless faces.

Along with groceries, Krishaj Foundation also gifted stainless steel thermos bottles and other winter essentials for every elderly person to help them tackle the upcoming Delhi winter.

This may be the first initiative of its kind, but given every employee’s participation, we can be sure that it won’t be the last!

Let’s continue to share, care, and create positive change together.
