AGRICULTURE, the science, the art of cultivating soil, growing crops and raising livestock. INDIA is an AGRARIAN country and hence half of country’s total population is indulged in this GOLDEN profession, thereby increasing prestige of our motherland in this world. But very often, people remember the art not the artist. We impart knowledge regarding agriculture but we overlook the one responsible for our country’s pride, we overlook the one because of whom, today in world INDIA stands on SECOND position, in terms of agriculture. ANY GUESSES?? Time for the answer!! “FARMERS” – yes you have guessed it right! Farmers – the one who raises his crop with utmost care, love and affection just like a mother raises her child. They are the TORCHBEARER of agriculture, the FATHER of agriculture, MAIN PILLAR of environment. Farmers are the only reason behind survival and sustainability of humanity and environment as well. He not only reaps his crop but also reaps our life with immense color, love and health. But amidst this pandemic they are starving, they are suffering. So let’s take this pious step towards their survival. Instead of wasting food if we donate even just a single flatbread [roti], then we can make them smile, we can make them prosper.
